Surfing

"The surf's up!" Cape Town features some fantastic surf spots, not to mention a city vibe that is very surfer-friendly. Muizenburg Beach is perhaps the best introduction to Cape Town surfing. It is a great spot for beginning surfers but also offers slow breaking waves and long rides for the more experienced surfer.  Muizenberg is easily accessible because it is located along the city train line that passes through Observatory.
