The VACorps Internship Program in Cape Town, South Africa Cape Winelands
Located just outside of Cape Town is one of South Africa’s most beautiful regions, the Cape Winelands. Three of the most highly renowned are Constantia, Stellenbosch and Franshoek. Located just northeast of the Cape, the winelands are home to hundreds of vineyards that offer wine tastings and tours daily. But these wineries offer many more incentives to visit than just these options! For example, there are numerous opportunities to dine, hike, golf, enjoy a spa day, and check out some wildlife! Spier, one of the well known wineries to visit in Stellenbosch, provides the chance to visit the Cheetah Outreach Programme and is home to Eagle Encounters Raptor Rehabilitation Centre. Spending a day in the winelands may be one of your most memorable experiences while in Cape Town, surrounded by beautiful scenery, good company, and incredible wines.
