The Old Biscuit Mill
The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, which is located just down the road from VACorps program housing in neighborhing Observatory, is a market/village offering hip and fashionable shoplets, farm stalls, and cafes. It is located in an old mill and is a fun spot to explore and experience - people often go there for the experience rather than for shopping!
The primary attraction is the Neighbourgoods Market which runs every Saturday 9am - 2pm. On offer are "fresh local produce, regional organic foods, hand-made cheeses, wood-fired breads, specialty fine-food, local designers, luxury beer, and live entertainment."
The Old Biscuit Mill is becoming extremely popular and can be very festive (and busy) especially on Saturdays. Take note that due to its popularity and the nature of the goods prices can be quite steep.
