"Interning with VACorps was an amazing experience that I would do all over in a heart beat. I had such a wonderful time that I extended my stay twice and only left because my second visa extension ended and I couldn't apply for another.I wouldn't have a clue how to find housing, an internship or my way around the city if I didn't go through VACorps. Its great living with other interns and meeting so many new people. The Friday activities are great and allow you to explore Cape Town that you might not do on your own.
I was also able to go on three VACorps trips to Mozambique, Namibia and the Wild Coast. If I didn't go through VACorps I wouldn't have been able to take these incredible trips and do things like scuba diving, swimming with whale sharks, ocean safari's, kayaking down the Orange River or having dinner at a Xhosa Village. If you are looking for a internship program in South Africa 100% choose Volunteer Adventure Corps and try and stay as long as you can. Its absolutely worth it and truly a life changing experience."
