"Having a love of travel, it was only a matter of time before I wound up in South Africa. Of course, a lot of questions came to my mind as well as the minds of my family and friends. Now that I am nearly finished, I would do it all over again in a heart beat. One gets to see a corner of the world not many others do. I was able to go to Mozambique, Jo’burg, and the Eastern Cape Province during my 3 months here all because of the opportunities VAC presented to me. VAC took my personal interests and my business degree and found me the perfect internship site. I was doing relevant work in a fun atmosphere. Never did I do the typical “intern” job of fetching coffee, or filing a stack of random papers. I did work that not only increased my knowledge of the particular field but also affected the company. This is truly a once in a life time opportunity that any internship back home never be able to match."
