Andy is studying towards her  BSC Business Administration with a minor in Operations Management at Enderun College. She joined the VACorps Program in July 2019 and participated in a marketing and business internship at a corporate company in Cape Town.

“This unforgettable experience provided me with a big picture of the operations department of a big company. Not only did I gain the experience of working with professionals, but I also gained a full understanding of Cape Town’s corporate culture and how the different departments interconnect with each other. I am enjoying the work with my supervisor, manager, and colleagues in the dynamic working environment. Coming here, I wanted to grow professionally and personally. Now that my trip’s ending, I am happy to say that I have improved my social skills, logical thinking, and self-worth. I enjoyed learning process mapping and am happy to have learned this skill. I am truly grateful for getting this opportunity and I would say that I did not regret applying for this internship program!”
