Project Description

Conservation Internships in Zimbabwe

Conservation Internships in Zimbabwe

Travel to the African bush during a conservation internship in Zimbabwe. As a participant of our unique program, you will work at both a domestic animal sanctuary and a Big Game Rhino & Elephant Conservancy–two immersive experiences that are exclusive to the African continent. This highly impactful program works closely with the surrounding communities and offers dedicated animal lovers an ethical and genuine experience of animal conservation in an African country. If you are a pre-veterinary or conservation student who wants to make positive contributions towards Zimbabwe’s often underfunded conservation efforts, this is the program for you!

Why should you join our Conservation Internship in Zimbabwe?

Zimbabwe is famous for its biodiversity and is home to many world-class national parks. Your internship experience will involve direct care and rehabilitation of both wild and domestic animals as well as community engagement, education, and development. You will also learn more about the implementation of conservation practices within a resource-constrained environment. It is not all work though! Zimbabwe is a country of world-renowned beauty and mind-blowing scenery. Above all, its people are some of the friendliest on the planet. During your free time, you will have the opportunity to visit tourist attractions and enjoy activities such as tours of the city, safari tours and hikes along the edge of Victoria Falls, which is one of the Natural Wonders of the World.
