Weekly Activities

Join VACorps’ Weekly Meet-Ups to discover Cape Town’s natural beauty and vibrant culture while connecting with fellow interns and VACorps staff. Each week, we venture to a different Cape Town location, unveiling the city’s rich diversity and spectacular beauty.

An example of some of our weekly meetups include surfing, hiking, wine tasting, attending shows, sunset yacht cruises, tea tasting, Cape Point, Picnics in Kirstenbosch, Township tours, beach days, and more.
The weekly meetup plans are weather-dependent and announced at the start of each week. A provisional schedule is available upon request.
Participation in these activities is optional, and they are already covered by the program fee.
Meet-Ups generally occur on Friday afternoons at 1 p.m., though occasionally we host events on weekday evenings or Saturdays.
These events are exclusively for VACorps interns, hosted by our staff.
You will be required to RSVP on the program WhatsApp group so that we can make booking and plan accordingly
