Jay is in his third year of study at Depauw University ,where he is completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He joined the VACorps program in February 2019 and did a sports marketing and management internship at a local football academy.
“After my girlfriend Meredith discovered VAC I did my own research and decided it would be an amazing opportunity to both travel abroad and gain internship experience. Coming to SA was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and I will cherish the memories and friends I have made here for the rest of my life. The football Academy where I worked is in incredible organisation and should ALWAYS be on the list for future interns through VAC. To all future VACorps interns: Enjoy your time while it lasts because it will fly by. Try to get out of your comfort zone as much as possible because ultimately that is what helps you grow as a person.” |
