Logan McVey
North Carolina, USA
2018

Logan was a participant of the July 2018 Human Rights Internship Program. “I wanted to intern abroad because it was a good way to get experience in the human rights field without having a law focus (which can be hard to find back home in the States). I wanted to come to Cape Town because I had been to South Africa before and loved it here. The best part is all the people you meet! I made so many new friends and met great professional contacts. VACorps were super helpful in making sure I got placed in an internship that lined up with my interest and would give me valuable experience. I highly recommend using them and if you are interested in human rights doing the program with Kelly Stone!”
