Crystal is studying towards a Masters in Social Work at Florida Atlantic University. She joined the VACorps Program in May 2022 and participated in human rights internship.
“Cape Town is such a diverse place to experience culture and dig deeper into who you are. The work here is purposeful and I enjoyed my supervisor the most as she is very passionate about what she does. I will miss the views the most and walk down the street as I greet all the locals I got to meet. A month is a perfect time to explore, work and sink into the culture of this beautiful city. I am thankful for the supportive staff and to VACorps for facilitating this experience.”
