Janyxa is studying Public Relations at the University of Michigan. She joined the VACorps program as a remote intern in September 2020, and where she worked for an NGO assisting with marketing and graphic design.
“I chose South Africa and VACorps because of the previous projects they had, which matched with what I want to do in the future. What I loved the most was the people I worked with communicating with them was fun and easy. What I learned about myself is that I do well when working with others and can take constructive criticism and create something everyone can agree on. What I will miss the most is creating and planning projects with my team.”
