Jasmin is studying animal science at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. She joined the VACorps program in 2019, where she participated in a conservation internship in Zimbabwe.
“Interning here was an amazing experience. You truly get some hands-on experience and are able to learn so much from the handlers that work here. I learned so much more about what it means to work for the care of animals and truly got to experience the importance of the community.”
