Scott joined the VACorps Program in March 2022 as part of his GAP year and participated in an education internship at a local school.
“I chose to come to Cape Town because of the variety and quality of activities on offer, and I was not disappointed. Between the ocean and the mountain, Cape Town is a truly spectacular city, with countless things to do, places to see, and people to meet. I interned at a local school, where I was given the opportunity to teach classes, and make real connections with my students. I learned to live on my own and navigate a completely new city. I have grown so much from this experience, and I am going to miss all of the amazing people I met here more than anything else.”
